Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Agent with strong Amadeus GDS experience who will also serve as an Office Manager. This dual-role position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage end-to-end travel arrangements while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically proficient in travel systems, and capable of handling administrative and office management responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Travel Agent Responsibilities

  • Book and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and travel insurance
  • Use Amadeus GDS to create, modify, reissue, and cancel reservations
  • Advise clients on travel options, fares, schedules, visa requirements, and travel policies
  • Handle ticketing, exchanges, refunds, and fare calculations accurately
  • Manage client profiles, itineraries, and travel documentation
  • Resolve travel issues such as schedule changes, cancellations, and emergencies
  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and travel suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with company and client travel policies

Office Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash
  • Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) and ensure data accuracy
  • Support management with administrative tasks and reporting
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications
  • Ensure the office is well-organized, professional, and client-ready

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Travel Agent
  • Strong working knowledge of Amadeus GDS (mandatory)
  • Experience in office administration or office management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • IATA certification or relevant travel industry certification
  • Experience handling corporate travel accounts
  • Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Knowledge of additional GDS systems is an advantage
